LINUS BECKMANN

Linus Beckmann is a Berlin-based painter currently studying at the University of the Arts (UDK). Known for his evocative narrative style, he applies a centuries-old glazing technique, layering multiple coats of paint and glaze to create depth and texture. His work blurs the boundary between reality and the surreal, with enigmatic figures and allegorical scenes emerging through these layered compositions. Drawing from the visual language of Renaissance and Baroque masters, Beckmann reimagines historical themes through a dreamlike lens, merging traditional techniques with his own creative sensibilities.
